The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Chilalay have joined forces to collaborate on a capsule collection consisting of several pieces inspired by the VMFA’s current special exhibition Tsherin Sherpa: Spirits—the first solo exhibition of Nepalese-born Tibetan American artist, Tsherin Sherpa.
This collection was created to spotlight the core values of Chilalay—arts, fashion & culture—while also embracing the similarities that fine arts and streetwear have in our culture today. Chilalay uses Tsherin Sherpa’s work to reimagine the visual aspect of Spirits while maintaining the ethos of the exhibit.
