This work was created by Frida Kahlo as a wedding present for her marriage to Diego Rivera. She finished it two years after the actual ceremony. Kahlo portrays the two of them, Diego Rivera slightly larger in size and taller than her, holding hands. In the upper right-hand corner, there is a dove carrying a banner with wording on it.
